Having more credible sources to support your points will strengthen your essay overall. Go to Unit 3 to take a look at the exemplars and “Introductions & Conclusions.” Also, use your active voice, not passive voice. Finally, reducing floating quotations and long quotations will help.<\/li>\n
  7. Counter Arguments – You’ll need to do more research on this and incorporate these counter arguments into your three arguments. They should be brief. <\/li>\n
  8. Avoid floating quotations. Use short and relevant embedded quotations. If you can easily paraphrase a quote, you shouldn’t quote it. Choose your quotes wisely based on effectiveness and relevancy.<\/li>\n
