Please provide a thesis and outline before beginning to write the essay. Some ideas that may be helpful in terms of finding a topic are describing what is exemplary in the two stories (his collection of short stories is called the exemplary novel of Cervantes), different explorations of similar situations, or characters not being able to control their reality. If you read through the stories and come up with a better idea, feel free to go with that as well.
