Assignment Overview:
\nStudents will carry out a literature review on a Hospitality, Travel or Tourism research topic. For each
\ntheme identified, students must provide a narrative based on their critical analysis of the sources identified
\nfor that theme.
\nOverall aim:
\nStudents will apply the research techniques discussed in class: finding and evaluating sources, summarising
\nresearch methodologies and main findings, and creating a narrative argument for each theme.

\nOrganization and methodology:
\nThe literature review is an individual assignment. The written work is to be submitted in pdf. format to the
\ncorresponding Moodle section within the subject. It should include a cover page, a statement of authorship,
\na table of contents, and references in APA style, and be free of misspellings and grammatical errors.
\nThe assignment must be submitted using the LRM template provided. Different templates will
\nnot be accepted, and the mark, in that case, will be 0 (zero).
\nThe Introduction chapter must include the overall research question guiding the review, the specific
\nobjectives it aims to cover, and the general approach taken for the review.
\nThe Overview themes must include a description of the themes that will be evaluated. Each theme must
\nrepresent a narrative argument of the theme, based on the critical evaluation of the academic sources
\nanalysed by the student.
\nThe review must be based on at least 12 (twelve) academic articles with DOI numbers: a minimum of 4
\n(four) sources per theme is required.
\nWord count: 2000 – 2500 words (excluding References)
