There are two ways that you may complete this requirement &#8211; in-text or in the bibliography.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto;\">Here are the rules for using visuals in your paper:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto;\">1) Visuals should be placed as close to the text that they are illustrating as possible<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto;\">2) Each visual must have a FIGURE # and a caption explaining what the picture means. Visuals are assigned chronological numbers throughout the paper. So, the fist picture would be Fig. 1; the next would be Fig. 2 and so on. These numbers must be in order: 1, then 2, then 3, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto;\">3) A simple caption, explaining the visual needs to be provided: Portrait of Albert de Salvo in Prison<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto;\">4) CITATION OPTIONS: 1 &#8211; In your bibliography, after you finish the textual sources, have a section called VISUALS or PICTURES or something like that. Then, using correct bibliographical format, list your visuals. In the annotation you can explain which visual it was OR 2 &#8211; In the paper, under the picture and after the caption, include the bibliographic information for the picture there.
