– Be critical (Come up with alternate arguments) <\/span><\/div>\n
– Be clear and persuasive <\/span><\/div>\n
 – Include some of these learning outcomes in the essay<\/span><\/div>\n
 1. Appraise the basic analytical approaches in political science and develop the ability to
\nanalyze political events in various contexts. <\/span><\/div>\n
 2. Acquire basic knowledge on the four primary issue areas in contemporary political
\nscience, namely: political economy, democracy theory, political institution and civil
\nsociety (including contentious politics and identity politics). <\/span><\/div>\n
