And in “Marita’s Bargain,\u201d Gladwell shows how a different cultural legacy \u2014 the tradition of summer break from school \u2014 can have negative effects on learning, effects that have an immense impact on future individual success.  He<\/span> ends the chapter on Marita\u2019s Bargain with the word \u201cmeaningful work.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

    3. One or two of your body paragraph should summarize the two essays by Gladwell, explaining to your readers exactly what ideas your essay will address from those two chapters.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4.  Your remaining body paragraphs, using they say, I say \u201cmoves,\u201d should include both specific ideas or quotes from <\/span>Outliers<\/i> <\/span>as well as your response to those ideas or quotes.  <\/span><\/span>In short, frame this discussion in the context (using evidence from) of Malcolm Gladwell’s claim.  This includes a reference to the author, the book title, and any relevant passages from <\/span>Outliers<\/em>.<\/span><\/li>\n
