Explore grit frameworks for increasing grit and perseverance in the classroom.<br \/>\n2.1 Explore signs, symptoms, and characteristics of gritty students.<br \/>\n2.2 Research how grit is different from perseverance and resilience.<br \/>\n2.3 Examine factors that influence and foster grit in the classroom and<br \/>\nat home.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>3. Explore lesson planning options to increase grit and engage students on how to<br \/>\nlearn, grow, and reflect when working on difficult tasks.<br \/>\n3.1 Explore ways to utilize different frameworks to help students<br \/>\nunderstand productive struggle.<br \/>\n3.2 Research best practices in lesson planning and activity<br \/>\ndevelopment that increase grit and success through productive<br \/>\nstruggle.<br \/>\n3.3 Reflect on past classroom lesson planning strategies and how they<br \/>\ncan be fine-tuned to embed more grit strategies.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>4. Examine digital and online resources that aid in the development of grit.<br \/>\n4.1 Explore additional resources that can be used to help students<br \/>\nadjust to difficult\/challenging experiences.<br \/>\n4.2 Explore a variety of grit assessments and checklists to measure grit<br \/>\ndevelopment.<br \/>\n4.3 Develop a checklist\/toolkit for students to reflect on grit.<br \/>\n4.4 Reflect on current practices and how your methods and resources<br \/>\nhave evolved during this course milestone.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>5. Develop an understanding of how to model grit in your classroom.<br \/>\n5.1 Research and reflect on one\u2019s personal experience with grit<br \/>\ndevelopment.<br \/>\n5.2 Explore the characteristics of grit-infused teachers.<br \/>\n5.3 Examine classroom teachers that model grit behaviors.<br \/>\n5.4 Explore implementation techniques and strategies to improve grit in<br \/>\nclassroom interactions.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>6. Examine how to best educate parents on the grit mentality and how they can be<br \/>\nsupported at home and within the classroom.<br \/>\n8.1 Review methods and mediums to educate parents on the grit<br \/>\nmentality and the support you have in your classroom.<br \/>\n8.2 Identify key points, benefits, and concerns particular to your school<br \/>\ncommunity and classroom when fostering a grit mentality.<br \/>\n8.3 Devise a plan to educate and communicate with parents about the<br \/>\ngrit mentality within your classroom.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Sources can be from anywhere not just restricted to the class.
