\nconclusion, rather than just telling them what the assumptions and conclusions are).

\n\u2022 Avoid superfluistic verbiosity (simple, clear words are best)
\n\u2022 Short, clear sentences are generally more effective
\n\u2022 Feel free (or even encouraged) to use 1st person attributions (I-statements)
\n\u2022 Just be careful, sharing and defending your beliefs is absolutely fine, but the mere fact that
\nyou believe it does not count as evidence, or reasons why anyone else should believe it too.
\nMake sure to back up your opinions, they do not count as evidence on their own.

\nabout it and figure out what your opinion really is. Once you do that, then your argument will truly
\nbe yours.
\n\u2022 Find an interesting twist on the issue, if you can. The more interested you are in the topic, the easier
\nit will be to write.
