\nimpact of Europeanization on the foreign policy of Hungary towards Russia which
\nwas considered a longtime ally of the state. Being an ally, Hungary subscribed
\nto most of the dictates and wants of Moscow as they had the obligation to keep
\ntheir friendship for the very obvious reasons. As such, the duration between
\n1998 and 2006 informed a significant phase in the Hungarian foreign policy
\nwhich were majorly brought about by the country\u2019s efforts to align with the
\nEuropean integration as well as her relation with Russia. Europeanization which
\nmajorly refers to the process of adapting and aligning to the policies, values,
\nand norms of the European Union played a very crucial position in shaping the
\nHungarian foreign policy towards Russia during the aforementioned duration of

\ndirect foreign relations of the country with Russia. Some of them include
\nEuropean Union Accession Perspective, the alignment of Hungary with the EU

\nsuggest that the pressures related to Europeanization leads to convergence in
