\u2022 Contained in this file are three case study descriptions. Students will prepare a response<\/p>\n
for each of the three Case Studies in this assignment<\/p>\n
\u2022 Students will use the Case Study document template provided by the instructor and will<\/p>\n
not change the document formatting (line spacing, font, margins, etc)<\/p>\n
\u2022 Completed assignments will be uploaded as a single file on Brightspace under<\/p>\n
\u201cAssignments\u201d<\/p>\n
\u2022 Your assignments will be cross-referenced against the turnitin.com database and will<\/p>\n
include an academic integrity pledge<\/p>\n
\u2022 Students will have a maximum of 3 pages to answer each Case Study (i.e., total 9 pages).<\/p>\n
Only content within this page limit will be graded<\/p>\n
\u2022 Each Case Study will be graded out of 15 marks (total = 45 marks), and the total assignment<\/p>\n
will be worth 30% of your final grade<\/p>\n
\u2022 At the bottom of each Case Study there will be specific instructions included for how to<\/p>\n
approach the nutritional problem (i.e., reason for consultation with a sports nutrition<\/p>\n
professional), including targeted questions to address in your response and a breakdown<\/p>\n
of how marks will be allocated<\/p>\n
\u2022 Your response to each Case Study can be subdivided into sections that match the discussion<\/p>\n
questions OR you can combine your responses into a single \u2018plan\u2019 for how you could address<\/p>\n
the nutritional problem in the Case Study (and integrate your specific responses to the<\/p>\n
discussion questions)<\/p>\n
\u2022 To aid your decision-making for \u2018what\u2019 and \u2018how much\u2019 to write, each Case Study includes<\/p>\n
a breakdown of the marks allocated to answering each discussion question (1 point or<\/p>\n
statement does not necessarily equal one mark)<\/p>\n
\u2022 Your priority should be to directly address the discussion questions, providing a clear<\/p>\n
description of what action or counselling you would provide and why (i.e., rationale for<\/p>\n
your decisions based on the information provided and application of course knowledge)<\/p>\n
\u2022 If you are conflicted about two possible courses of action for how to deal with a Case<\/p>\n
