Written Assignment<\/b> – Submit a 4 page paper summarizing and analyzing the chapter(s)\/articles associated with your class discussion topic.  Summarize and critique the reading(s) associated with your assigned discussion readings.  For the written assignment submission, students should start with the 3 page summary initially submitted to the discussion board, edit it as needed, and add a fourth page, which will provide his\/her personal opinion\/analysis of the reading(s).  <\/span>In text citations and a works cited page should be included with the written assignment.  <\/span>Students are expected to summarize the reading(s) assigned to the class that they have been assigned \u2013 no additional outside research is required for this assignment.  <\/span>This assignment will be submitted in the Written Assignment portal.<\/p>\n

Papers should be no longer than 5 pages.  Students are limited to using 4 quotes for the assignment (2 quotes up to 40 words, 2 quotes up to 60 words).  Students are required to cite sources in the body of the paper and include a works cited page.  Students must also submit a list of discussion questions along with their paper assignment. (4 Discussion question to be no longer than a sentence on the topic of the chapters at hand)<\/p>\n
