    3. Compare historical awareness of the topic globally<\/span>, How and when were issues with the natural resource(s) first identified? What were the initial response(s)?<\/li>\n
    4. Significant Developments:<\/span> <\/span>During your chosen timeline, what are some significant developments (e.g., scientific discoveries, local actions) and contributors (e.g., scientists, activists) to the topic?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    5. Section 2: Local Real\u2010World Applications and Specific Steps. <\/span><\/span>Research and explain opportunities and challenges for addressing the topic, including:\n

      1. Identify the opportunities for change: <\/span><\/span>What do you want to happen?<\/li>\n
      2.
