A research paper is an expanded essay that presents your own argument. When you write an essay, you use everything that you personally know and have thought about a subject. When you write a research paper you build upon what you know about the subject and make a deliberate attempt to find out what experts know. A research paper involves surveying a field of knowledge in order to find the best possible information in that field.<\/div>\n

Make sure your topic is something you can argue and will add value to the field of knowledge about that topic. Write something that does something!<\/div>\n

For this paper, you will choose a topic concerning the following:<\/div>\n

  • Discuss an area of concern in the field of work you will be going into or are interested in (computer drafting and design). You should discuss this topic concerning how it affects those working in the field. Where is there a debate\/issue that you can weigh in on?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    – Burnout and Nursing<\/div>\n
    -Pay in Education<\/div>\n
    -Physical dangers to those working in a technical field.<\/div>\n
    Not only do you want to discuss the issue, but you will also want to propose a solution in your essay.<\/div>\n
