King starts the essay with an <\/span>epigraph.<\/strong> <\/span>An epigraph is a phrase, quotation, or poem that is set at the beginning of the document. The epigraph may serve as a preface to the work, as a summary, or as a counter-example.  The following are examples of famous epigraphs that are used in literature:<\/p>\n
