From the reading of chapter 3 Mary’s
\nrollerblading injury. Getting the patient history and information prior to what
\nhappened during the event is extremely vital knowledge information the
\nradiographer and radiologist to know in Mary’s case as she stated she was
\nrollerblading early morning as she was attempting to avoid loose gravel she
\nfell on her wrist and knee. A PA then inspected the wrist with no scratches but
\nwas slightly deformed with limited range of motion to her wrist with knowing
\nthis information the PA then evaluates her in injury by cleansing her scrached
\nknees then proceeding to take Mary to the radiology department passing the
\nvital information to the radiographer of what incident had occurred the
\nradiographer then X-ray’s her wrists then rules out the injury as a
\n“Colles” fracture. getting patient history is very important part of
\na radiography exam especially having the information of what happened the time,
\ndate and how it happened and what position you may have fell or history of any
\nbroken bones or ligaments. Or even medical disease example such as arthritis or
\nosteoporosis known as a bone disease because it gives the radiographer and
\nradiologist a proper decision positions to put the patient in without adding
