Your research proposal should contain the following sections.

\n\u27a2 Study objectives, significance, and design
\n\u27a2 Sampling & recruitment
\n\u27a2 Data collection & data analysis
\n\u27a2 Ethical considerations & Rigour (Reliability & Validity \/ Trustworthiness)
\n\u2022 Each of these sections should be approximately 350 \u2013 400 words. If one section requires more
\nwords it is possible to \u2018borrow\u2019 words from another section. The total should be 1500 \u2013 2000
\nwords.
\n\u2022 Use the marking guide that has been provided to guide you in compiling your proposal
\n\u2022 Remember to use references in every section. If you do not use intext referencing it is an
\nacademic integrity issue.
\n\u2022 In-text references and headings are included in the word count. \u2022 A contents page is not required.
