The International Research Project requires you to Examining the Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza: Addressing the Impact of Occupation and Conflict on Palestinian Communities Abstract:  and research it from the perspective of U.S. sources as well as non-U.S. sources and present your findings in the form of an annotated bibliography.  Once you have developed the bibliography, you will write a critical response to the information you have found. <\/span><\/p>\n

The steps in the project are as follows:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Research your topic along two tracks:  U.S sources and non-U.S. sources.  Select articles\/sources which show differences between the two perspectives.  Use at least 4 U.S sources and 4 non-U.S. sources.<\/li>\n
  2. Write the correct APA citation  and a short annotation for each article.  <\/li>\n
  3. Once you have completed your annotated bibliography, write a summary and critical response to your body of research.  Answer such questions as:  is there credible evidence to support the writer’s position on the topic? How do the perspectives differ?  Where do they agree, if they do?   Which perspective do you tend to agree with and why?  Has this changed your perspective of the topic? Apply critical thinking: e.g., what persuasion techniques can you find in your sources?  Can you spot any bias, fallacies, appeal to emotion?  <\/li>\n
  4. You will submit your final topic and have <\/span><\/span>at least one annotated entry <\/u>from a U.S. source and <\/span><\/span>one from an international source<\/span>  in correct APA format. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
