Is it enough to follow the ‘learning through’ approach to arts education in our schools?<\/p>\n

 I would ideally like this to cover what the ‘learning through’ approach is (using arts subjects e.g. music\/dance\/drama\/art in other subjects such as using music to enhance science lessons). Then to summarise the key research into why this approach is effective and useful. <\/span><\/div>\n
Then, to look into opposing research and why there may be limitations to this approach, and perhaps, the ‘learning in’ approach (instead of integrating arts into other subjects, this approach means that arts lessons are taught separately and as specialist lessons) could be better? <\/span><\/div>\n
It would be great if you could then do some literature review on research into the ‘learning in’ approach and why this may fill the gaps that perhaps the ‘learning through’ approach cannot address. <\/span><\/div>\n
