How can you connect or relate these 2 assigned readings to today\u2019s society? Has anything changed since the time these essays and poems were written?   Based on what you have read, why is it important to share these character traits in Emerson\u2019s essay or address Hughes\u2019s concerns?  Include the things you have learned from a Guide to Rhetoric and from the assigned readings.  Also, make sure to give your point of view as well. Please be sure to use examples to illustrate your point of view and\/or make connections to what you have read.<\/strong><\/p>\n
