You should<span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">discuss aspects of \u201cpost-truth,\u201d \u201cfake news,\u201d and\/or social media literacy\/responsibility as it pertains to the way you understand, learned, or will know environmental spaces, issues,<span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">and\/or policy.<span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">You will need to use at least 2 of the sources we have discussed and<span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><em style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">The Social Dilemma<\/em><span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span>in class as a<span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\"><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">way to introduce the conversation, support your claims, and\/or present your perspective.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">Your thesis\/essay must reflect the scope of the assignment, meaning you will need a thesis that you can adequately and fully argue\/develop in 4-5 pages. What question will your thesis\/essay answer? Are you more interested in specific issues or specific habits, for example? You will want to make sure that you are able to bring in<span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">at least 2 different<span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">sources<span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong>we\u2019ve discussed in class as you present and answer that question. These will be the ONLY sources you are allowed to engage at this point. The exception is any kind of context (a single additional source) that you think would be helpful for your reader\u2019s understanding of your argument.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 12px 0px; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">Once you choose your question and decide on the answer to that question (the focus of the essay), choose<span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><em style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">at least<span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/em>two texts + the doc. that address or comment on that focus and find<span style=\"cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">&nbsp;<\/span><strong style=\"font-weight: bold; cursor: auto; color: inherit;\">specific passages, quotes, or sections that are especially relevant to your argument<\/strong>.
