After reading\/watching the information provided on Freud’s Psychoanalytic Theory, you will be choosing a character in <\/span>Othello<\/em> <\/span>to analyze using Freud’s theories. <\/p>\n

Each of the characters in the play can easily be analyzed using Freud’s theories. You may discuss any element of psychoanalysis: ego, id, superego; defense mechanisms, dreams, levels of conciousness, etc.<\/p>\n

If you’d like, you may also choose to discuss three different characters and how each character correlates with one aspect of Freud’s understanding of the subconscious mind (Id, Ego, and Superego). <\/p>\n

For Example: (Harry Potter Series) Harry as the Ego, Ron as the Id, and Hermione as the Superego<\/p>\n
