I am
\nlooking to explore research (peer-reviewed journal articles) from dates
\n2017-2024 to create a literature review. The literature review should be 3
\npages long. Here you want to use a thematic literature review, NOT an annotated
\none. The literature review should contain no opinion, just critical findings
\nfrom multiple sources. Each paragraph should contain at least 3 different
\nsources. Each source MUST be cited in text. I work as a therapist in a
\npsychiatric outpatient behavioral health center at a hospital in NY. Our
\ndemographics identify as BIPOC, specifically Black, African American,
\nAfro-Carribean, and Latinx. This literature review should explore what cultural
\ncompetency is, why it is crucial in healthcare, particularly in therapy, using
\npeer-reviewed articles. The literature should 1) define cultural competency 2)
\ndiscuss the importance of cultural competency\/cultural knowledge in healthcare
\nsettings, particularly in hospital mental health settings. 3) explore research
\non best therapy and treatment practices for minority groups (Black, African
\nAmerican, Afro-carribean, Latinx) among our behavioral health’s (NYC Health +
\nHospitals) clinical social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, nurse
\npractitioners, peer counselors and case managers. Please use my research
\nproposal as a guide. I have uploaded it and named it “statement of
\ninterest – killer”. I have also uploaded some works that you MAY include
\nin your literature review. Remember, they must be published between 2017-2024.
