Community Teaching Project – Part 5 Assessment Traits

\nPresentation Development
\nThe purpose of this assignment is to develop a presentation of the topic chosen for the identifed community
\nbased on the Community Teaching Project.
\nThe Community Teaching Project has indirect care experience requirements. The “Indirect Care Experience
\nHours” form, found in the Topic 1 Resources, will be used to document the indirect care experience hours
\ncompleted in the Community Teaching Project and Presentation. As progress is made on the Community
\nTeaching Project, update this form indicating the date(s) each section is completed. This form will be submitted in Topic 5.
\nPrepare a presentation using the “Community Teaching Project” templates that were completed previously in
\nthis course along with the information from the interview with the community representative.
\nStudents will give this presentation to the selected community in Topic 5. Reach out to the selected
\nrepresentative to confrm the date and time to present the selected topic to the community.
\nSelect one of the following options to prepare the applicable presentation:
\nPowerPoint presentation (no more than 30 minutes)
\nPamphlet presentation (one to two pages)
\nPoster presentation
\nInfographic
\nFor this assignment, upload the presentation deliverable created (i.e., PowerPoint presentation, pamphlet,
\npicture of the poster presentation, etc.).
\nStudents who fail to complete the Topic 4 “Community Teaching Project – Part 5” assignment with a score of
\n76% or higher will be required to complete remediation. Please see additional directions in the “Topic 4-
\nIndirect Care Experience Remediation” form.
\nWhile APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and
\ndocumentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the
\nAPA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
\nThis assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar
\nwith the expectations for successful completion.
