\nmajor cases and systems\/institutions of inequity; discussed the legal and extra-legal framing of
\narguments about protest, free speech, and justice; and discussed the political machinations that
\nwork as both tools for a change and obstacles to reaching clear goals.
\nIn roughly 1,250 words (five pages, double-spaced), use this foundation to compose an essay
\ncontextualizing the activist work of an athlete, i choose Megan Rapinoe.  <\/b><\/p>\n

\u25cf What challenges or baggage might your subjects have carried that hurt their protest or
\naction? <\/div>\n
\u25cf How is their action connected more broadly to others and other struggles? (Think
\nSystems Thinking) <\/div>\n

\u25cfTo what extent is their protest oriented towards a legal vision of justice? To what extent
\nis it oriented toward extralegal visions? <\/span><\/div>\n

\u25cf Is it a successful model? Have they had an impact? Did they leverage their net<\/span>work
\nwell? <\/span><\/div>\n
