Even while I recognize that dream
interpretation is arbitrary and does not always provide apparent answers, I
have personally discovered patterns and symbols in my dreams that correspond to
my real-world experiences. For example, repeating motifs like being hunted or
feeling ill-prepared for a test frequently reflect underlying concerns or
tensions in my life. By investigating these themes through dream analysis, I’ve
gained a greater understanding of my subconscious anxieties and
motivations.Furthermore, dream analysis has helped me see patterns in my
behavior and feelings that I would not have noticed otherwise. For example,
frequent nightmares concerning fights with loved ones have caused me to focus
on my way of interacting and address the root causes of stress in my
relationships. While I do not consider dream interpretation to be a conclusive
science, I do believe it can be helpful for self-reflection and personal
improvement. It allows me to get into my subconscious mind and gain insights
that can help me make better decisions and acts in my waking life. Overall,
while I approach dream analysis skeptically, I’ve discovered that it may be an
effective technique for getting insight into my inner reality.

Post 2:

An idea of Frued that I have encountered is the id, ego, and
superego. I feel like I’ve encountered this more than usual, especially more
recently now that I’m more independent. There are times where this superego
gets in the way, more usually when I’m out in public. It tends to activate
something in my brain, where it’s like telling me to follow the norms, and it
just gets in my way. Then within those times, ego comes into play and helps me
balance those thoughts out. So When I feel like somethings wrong or I’m not
following the norms, my ego comes in and sort of backs me up, Giving me that
confidence or following the norm.
