For this paper, you are going to play the
\npart of a curator. A \u2018curator\u2019 is \u201ca person who organizes the collection and
\nexhibition of objects \/ artworks in a museum or gallery\u201d (Gateways, <\/i>688). As a curator, you are going to put together an
\nexhibit for a gallery in the NCMA.<\/span><\/p>\n

Choose
\n3 works of art<\/span><\/b> to join your temporary exhibition.
\nThese works can be from the NCMA but do not have to be \u2013 as a curator, you have
\nthe prerogative to ask other museums if you can \u201cborrow\u201d their works. But you
\nwill have to let your reader know from where the works you are using are on
\nloan. You will introduce your reader, briefly, to the works that are in your
\nshow, and then write a paper in which you describe the exhibition you\u2019ve
\ndesigned.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>What works are in your exhibition?
\nWhat is the theme of the exhibition? How do each of the works you chose fit
\nwith that theme?<\/span><\/p>\n

2.    
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span>What is the goal of the exhibition \u2013 what do
\nyou hope your viewers will learn after visiting the show? <\/span><\/p>\n

3.    
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>Each artwork chosen should have
\ntheir own descriptive paragraph where you visually analyze the piece \u2013 go over
\nthe elements and principles seen within each piece. Use the skills you have
\nlearned this semester to fully analyze what you are seeing and how you know!<\/span><\/p>\n

4.    
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>Include any information about how
\nthe gallery will be prepared for the works. Will you have the walls painted?
\nWill there be any special lighting used to highlight the works? Are the objects
\ngoing to be placed on pedestals or hung on the wall? What kind of wall text
