This public engagement proposal is based off the 3 objects from the Manchester Museum of Medicine and Health (MofMH). PLEASE MAKE SURE to look at the proposal examples as they are also based on the MoMH and have used relevant sources. Please look at the document that is titled ‘work done so far’, it is optional to already use my proposal ideas that i have made or you can start new. The chosen audience I chose was either researchers or local community, specifically young women. However it is up to you on what you think is best. Please choose where the exhibition location should be carefully, based on the chosen target audience.  PLEASE LOOK at the proposal examples I have attatched, you must include a budget breakdown sheet, with sources cited, timetable, etc (look at the proposal outline list)<\/span><\/p>\n

Individual Assessment (3,000 words) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span><\/span>You will develop a public engagement project proposal that will aim to engage <\/span>ONE <\/span><\/b>of the following audiences\/communities with the collection of the Museum of Medicine and Health:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span><\/span>Researchers (including university students and staff) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span><\/span>A local community <\/span><\/span>\u2022 <\/span><\/span>Schools<\/span><\/p>\n

  • For the purpose of this project proposal, you can either focus on the type of collection represented in your group box, or draw on other types of objects of the Museum. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Your budget is \u00a3500. If you decide to cost the proposal at more than \u00a3500, you will need to explain how you\u2019d go about raising the additional funds. <\/span>You will draw on readings and discussions from this course, the Introduction to Museum Studies course and beyond<\/i><\/b>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
