Times.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span>Hunters claim in filing that courts have OK\u2019d corner crossing as published December 6, 2022 by<\/span>

<\/span>The two articles above and Section 1063 have been previously posted in a Module on Canvas.<\/span>
For ease in writing your paper, you may refer to the New York Times article as It\u2019s Public Land,<\/span>
the second article as Hunters Claim article, and the statute as Section 1063.<\/span>
I suggest that you read It\u2019s Public Land first, then Hunters Claim, then the statute.<\/span>
The first half of your paper should be an organized summary of the two articles and the current<\/span>
issue (or issues) relating to corner crossing between public lands. The second half of your paper<\/span>
is more of a creative exercise for you to state your opinion as to whether or not corner crossing is<\/span>
legal. Note that we are talking about corner crossing from public lands to public lands, and your<\/span>
opinion should be based on information gleamed from the two articles, Section 1063, our<\/span>
discussion in class on air rights, trespass, that the common law concept of air rights from the<\/span>
surface of the land to the stars in the sky is no longer absolute in an evolving world, that there are<\/span>
recognized exceptions to excluding people from property, and our discussion in class on why<\/span>
people purchase easements for such matters as ingress and egress to and from property.<\/span>
Your paper should also be reflective of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling.<\/span>
