Write the memo for the internal audience of your company. Before you write, reflect on the purposeand audience(s) of your document, and think about tone (see Chapter 2). When discussing Olofsson’s ideas, you must cite her work in MLA format (giving page numbers.) 

The memo should introduce the reason for writing to the staff and summarize the key findings of the article (framing it for your audience!) and how we can use its information to increase our awareness of global audiences for our business.

(You can invent your local business.) I’m not interested in seeing the article “in miniature”: I’m interesting in your ability to take the “information overload” of a large article and simplify it for a reading audience too busy to read the article.
