This article discusses the issues surrounding the 340B Drug Discount Program since the induction of the ACA. The healthcare law added more eligible hospitals to this program whose estimated purchases in 2013 were $7.5 billion, or a 2.3% share of the U.S. prescription drug market. The article includes PhRMA’s issues with the program.
