For this Signature Assignment, select a major domestic or international company. Then, write a scholarly paper to evaluate its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, including a historical timeline of its development, modifications, and improvements.
As you complete your assignment, remember to consider the current business environment in which your company operates. This could include programs an organization has created in the past or is considering for the future, as well as how it compares with competitors locally, domestically, and globally.
Be sure to address the following four topics:
1. Assess the CSR maturity of the company selected. Indicate whether the company is a front runner or follower with respect to CSR adoption (from compliance to share value) relative to the industry it is operating in.

Indicating where the industry as a whole is with respect to CSR adoption
For the company selected, indicate whether you regard it as a front runner or follower in the industry by:
Assessing (some) relevant dimensions for the different categories (stakeholders, primary functions, supporting processes, and organization), providing arguments to support your choice, and company-specific examples where possible.
Providing examples from competitors in the industry that justify your opinion on the company’s position as a front runner or follower.
2. Formulate recommendations for the company you selected.
Given the above assessment of your company, what are the top three programs and or initiatives your company should undertake to catch up or remain as a front runner in the next three years?
Reflect on scale: what would be different for companies in your industry that are much bigger and or much smaller? Give 4 to 5 examples.
Reflect on geography: what would be different for companies in your industry in other geographical areas? Give 3 to 4 examples.

References: Include a minimum of 7 scholarly references.
