I need a research about Aegopodium podagraria (goutweed),how it effects (influence) antioxidant properties. 

i need a description about the Aegopodium padagraria, how it looks ( roots especially), where and how it is used in medicine( properties), where it can be found ( origins) chemical composition of a root !!!( if it is possible) . 
 
I need description of polyphenols, Biological significance of polyphenolic compounds, Medical significance of polyphenolic compounds.
This is the information I need , however if you think that there is additional information that can help with the research, please write about that as well.
P.S.  I need help with the theoretical part of my thesis and I already did an experiment for it, here is what I did. Hoping that can help and could be used in the research.
  !  In my experiment they were dried, lyophilized and untreated and then extraction was made with the use of ethanol 70% and water. i need information about how it affects on chemical composition (polyphenol).
As a method i used Folin-Ciocalteu method to determine polyphenolic compounds in root, and for antioxidative properties i used DPPH method.
