The ‘Body’ of this paper should:
- be double-spaced like the rest of the paper
- summarize research related to your topic: What have others written about the topic in scientific journals, books, websites, etc.?
- make connections between each source/article and your psychological topic through the use of thoughtful transition sentences
- validate your thesis with the research you summarize
- cite and reference at least 3 sources of information. At least one source MUST be from scientific research (i.e. peer-reviewed journal article) using EBSCOhost. If you do not know how to use EBSCOhost, use the AVC library resources or Writing Lab for help
- have sub-titles if it is helpful for the organization of your paper
- be well thought and thorough, telling the story of each source and how each relates to your topic
- have clear topic sentences that are followed by supporting, relevant information
- correctly cite the original author when using someone else’s thoughts or words – Whenever you use the words of another author, whether it is another student, yourself, a printed article, an online article, a printed book, an ebook, a song, a movie, TV show, absolutely anything other than your own thought written specifically for the assignment you must give credit to whomever authored it.
