3. Your Research Project should be a 4 to 5 page paper, with separate cover and reference pages, and include the following:

• Executive Summary – thesis statement on an instructor-approved topic. What is the primary reason for writing the paper? What are the major points to be covered?
• Discussion Section – will present arguments to support the thesis statement. Find references for each argument you make in support of each point you make in the paper. You should have a least three arguments starting with the strongest. There should be a minimum of 5 references from separate substantive resources.
• Conclusion Statement – restates the thesis and summarizes the arguments.
