Theorist Presentation
Prepare an engaging presentation on your chosen theorist. (My chosen theorist is Abraham Maslow; Hierarchy of Needs)
Include a history of the theorist, a summary of their theory, plan/create an activity which highlights an application of the theory in an educational setting. Record your presentation, Zoom is a good option. Be sure to use visuals. (10 points)
The following week you will watch your peers’ presentations record notes from each then write a reflection. Why is it important to learn about these theorists and their theories as future educators? What is our role as educators to consider these theories and other research when planning instruction? What takeaways do you have from watching your peers’ presentations? Share other takeaways from your learning and how it applies to your prior experiences. (5 points)
