Students will submit 3 topics that they would like to write about that relate to homeland security no later than February 14, 2025. Students should use the course topics as a starting point. For example, if a student was interested in emergency management they may want to write about the response to the Boston Marathon bombing on April 15, 2013.
Students will submit a paper proposal that identifies the topic of the paper as well as a minimum of 6 sources that will be used. The outline for the paper is due March 14, 2025
Papers will be due on April 25, 2025 .
- Students will submit a paper that is a minimum of seven pages and will include the following sections:
- Title Page (Title of paper, name of student, and course number)
- 5 pages of content
- Reference page
- The paper will include in-text citations along with a reference page and should be written using APA format.
- At least one source must be a book, one must be from a scholarly publication, and one must be from a newspaper.
- Sources must be of a scholarly nature. Wikipedia is not a source. Even according to Wikipedia itself!
- Students will submit a structurally sound and grammatically correct paper.
