The Legal and Social Implications of Minimum Wage Regulation: A Comparative Study of Statutory and Collective Approaches in the EU

I have attached the thesis guidelines, the mini thesis proposal that has been submitted and approved, a thesis by the same master as an example of the type of work that is acceptable. My topic is the minimum wage in the European Union and specifically a comparative analysis of the countries that have a statutory minimum wage and those that define it through collective labor agreements. The results of the analysis should be of a legal but also social nature (e.g. unemployment, worker protection, exploitation of workers). The countries that I have chosen as an indication are Greece and the Netherlands (statutory minimum wage) and Sweden and Italy (Collective Labor Agreements). The above is not binding. If the available material is not the desired one, the comparison could be limited to 2 countries with simple reference to others. The Thesis is submitted to the Supervisor in chapters. Once the mini proposal has been approved, the thesis proposal (5-6 pages) must now be submitted, which will be the core of the entire work. It should be a miniature thesis with reference to all chapters. After approval of the proposal and correction of any observations, it continues per chapter.
