Submission format
The submission is in the form of a short report. You are required to make use of headings
and subsections as appropriate, and all work must be supported with research and
referenced using the Harvard referencing system and include a bibliography. The
recommended word count is 1,500 words although you will not be penalised for exceeding
the total word limit.
Scenario
Following on from the crisis meeting (in assignment 2) that was held with different
stakeholder organisations, you have been asked by the Board of the organisation that you
represented to write a report in which you evaluate how organisational power, politics and
culture may influence employee behaviour at the club.
Activity
Your report should examine and evaluate how the operation of power, politics and culture at
the football club may affect employee behaviour (including players, coaches, sales and
administration, etc) and the accomplishment of the club’s organisational goals. Make
conclusions and justified proposals on how organisational power, politics and culture can be
used effectively to influence and direct employee behaviour towards the accomplishment of
the football club’s organisational goals. Your report must reference relevant academic
sources and examples of best practice from other organisations and/or industries.
