This
semester culminates in an opportunity to write a research paper over an
employment law topic of your choice. This is more than simply summarizing a
case or summarizing the current state of an area of law. You must go further
and provide some novel analysis. You could argue against a court’s
interpretation on a matter, you could propose new legislation, you could
provide advice for employers on how to best comply with employment law, etc.
Minimum
2,000 words total (including citations).
Paper
must contain at least four citations and all citations must be in APA format.
Points
will be deducted for not meeting the word limit,
grammar/spelling/punctuation/citation errors, factual inaccuracies
(obviously!), and poor/mediocre analysis.
