The goal of the Professional Report is to provide your client with a short report that addresses the brief that you have been set in the Tender Letter.

Individual Assignment – Professional Report (3000 words)

As part of the GY454 course, each student must submit a 3000-word professional report. This report should respond to the government brief outlined in the Tender Letter, analyzing a specific London development and its planning process. The aim is to evaluate how the planning system helped or hindered the delivery of housing and to make evidence-based recommendations for planning reform.

The report must be written in clear, non-academic language and include:

• Title page (no names)
• Table of contents
• Executive summary (300–500 words)
• Introduction
• Main body (evidence-based analysis)
• Recommendations/Conclusions
• Use of maps, images, tables, and referencing is expected.

The report should build on your group’s research and may include additional sources or insights.
