Here are the guidelines for the final term paper:
- The topic could be about anything from Hindi film industry, make sure you get it approved from me and/or Fahad. Simply write me an email stating your topic.
- The word count is 1800 – 2000 not including references
- Use any style (APA, Chicago, MLA, Harvard) for citation: Reference list
–in-text citation – (Author’s surname, year, Page No. (in case of direct quote))
DO NOT PLAGIARIZE – Will need to submit this through ‘Turn it in’
- Do not use footnotes to give bibliographical details.
- At least 5 references apart from our course pack with meaningful engagement with them, not just their superficial mention.
- References only from academic sources: academic journals and books, not from websites; such as blogs, Wikipedia etc.
- Make bibliography separate from filmography (separate reference list for films)
- Organise the paper properly; introduction, main body, conclusion, reference list etc.
- Do not refrain from making controversial statements, we have full academic freedom in our classes.
