The effects of Architecture Patterns within Previously Redlined Neighborhood in Portland, OR.

Basically I want for you to edit PPPM-321-LitReview-MethodsOutline-Sauer

for my final turn in, I want it to be a litte longer too.

Proposal: For
my research paper I want to study the effects of construction patterns in
previously redlined neighborhoods in Portland, Oregon. Specifically looking at
urban heat island effect, green spaces, housing density, access to resources
(air-conditioning, swimming pools, public cooling centers). I want to explore
how these construction patterns (prevalence of concrete and asphalt) can
contribute by comparing temperature data across different neighborhoods. I want
to investigate how historical redlining policies have shaped current
construction patterns and infrastructure in these neighborhoods that
contributes to the vulnerability to heat-related health issues and any other
factors that may arise.
