This is a study proposal, It is to design a research study proposal exploring different type of messages, Statistical (informational) vs Narrative messages and how these type of messages influence attitudes towards depression with a focus on stigma reduction.Things to be aware of:- Independent variable: Is the type of message (statistical and narrative)- Dependent Variable: Outcomes of the measure after the message exposure, it is the depression stigma (like the depression scale etc)- It is a true experimental design, participants will be randomly assingmed- The target population is emergin adulthood (18-25 years of age) university/college students as they are risk for depressionThings to do: – I attached two files- one file has the final instructions on what things to include in the final paper please follow them- The other file has 5 articles in the annotated bibliography, please use these specific articles for the final study propsal in Addition to 2 more articles i need– additional 2 articles must be recent, 10 years, must be peer-reviewed journal articles related to the topic. The idea, with what’s been done in the past, and why you need to do something new with it (maybe to clarify a problem with the research; or resolve two alternative views in the research (one researcher says one this, and someone else says something contradictory…who is right?); i would like the resolving two views in research so is narrative or statistical better in reducing stigma etc.
The effectiveness of statistical and informational messaging in reducing depression stigma, improving help-seeking attitudes, and enhancing mental health literacy among emerging adults
