The idea of nationalism led to the great fall of the late ottoman empire as the Amernian Genocide reshaped the concept of migration in the middle east. Migrants fled to neighboring countries in hopes for seeking refuge and saftey from the persucutions faced ultimately, transforming the ethnic and politcal landscape of the middle east known today.
