This is an ambitious project and is wide in scope re: post-colonial states, democracy, and social and economic indicators.
I encourage you to focus on 2-3 specific cases in depth and with precision. Build your descriptive statistics from there, and choose 1-2 theories or concepts to anchor your discussion.
What cases will you focus on and why are they comparable? (For example, is post-colonial democracy in, say, Botswana, comparable to Bolivia or post-colonial democracy in small states versus medium or large states?)
