In this activity you will have the opportunity to further your understanding of the three major views of language development:  biological, behavioral, and interactionalist.  I will be dividing the class into three groups based on one of the theoretical perspectives and creating a discussion board for each group to carry out your online dialogue.

First, each group should identify the basis of language development that their theoretical perspective assumes and generate evidence that supports that view using your text and other research material you find.
