1. Select one topic covered in class. This assignment focuses on the student’s choice of research area. Please select a research topic that is of interest to you.
2. Do additional readings related to your chosen topic. Conduct research to gain a deeper understanding of the topic you have chosen.
3. Once you have chosen a research topic, please find at least 2 additional academic resources that help you learn something new or help you understand the topic more fully.
Format:
Essays must be 1000 words, double spaced, and illustrate the student’s ability to develop critical thinking skills and perform research to understand topics related to Indigenous peoples and their lived experiences of colonialism.
