Results and Discussions Section: PSY 390- Research Methods Developmental Psychology

My hypothesis is: If you are an upperclassmen student athlete, then you will endure more stress than underclassmen student athletes and all non-student athletes. 

We will consider ages 18-20 as underclassmen, and ages 21+ as the upperclassmen.

In the study on Qualtrics, I asked several demographic questions, and included two surveys. The surveys we included were the “student athlete well-being scale”(SAWS), and the “perceived stress scale”(PSS)

I will be attaching the SPSS, qualtrics survey, and an example of what the results and discussion section looks like.

I need to include tables and figures in the discussion and results section as well. References are also needed for this writing.

Draft 3: Results Section. Must be an individually-written draft.  Must include a properly formatted title page with running head, page headers, page numbers, title, name, institutional affiliation; a draft of your abstract; at least 3 pages covering your Results section (include statistical copy and refer to Tables and Figures) Include at least one table and one figure. Use transitions between paragraphs (no simple listing of studies or block paragraphs on one study followed by another); absolutely no direct quotes; and a References page using APA format of all material cited. Must also include SPSS dataset with summary/total scores (.sav).

 

Draft 4: Discussion Section. Must be an individually-written draft.  Must include a properly formatted title page with running head, page headers, page numbers, title, name, institutional affiliation; a draft of your abstract; at least 3 pages covering your Discussion section where you cite additional research not present in the Introduction to support/describe your findings in context of others’ studies. Discussion must include Limitations and Future Directions subsections. Use transitions between paragraphs (no simple listing of studies or block paragraphs on one study followed by another); absolutely no direct quotes; and a References page using APA format of all material cited.
