The homesickness ismore metaphysical since the speaker knows where the home is but still feels adrift (diasporic experience), and this metaphysical homesickness is expressed in the poetic form.
– In Zong!, the speaker experiences a differnet kind of homesickness where the person knows exactly where the home is but is unable to go back to it due to the fact that he is confined in a cell on the slave ship Zong.
The former (Homesick Blues) is more geographical, whereas the latter has no sense of geography.
