After reading “To Live in the Borderlands” by Gloria Anzaldúa and “Census” by Marwa Helal, please create a response to these poetry pieces in a thesis-driven essay. In what ways do these poems capture the experiences of minority Americans and immigrants? How do they capture the experiences of being “othered”?
